This also provides a wonderful opportunity for staff to network with their peers across the group.

This is a four-session course for DSLs over a full-day, each of around 75 mins in duration.

Safeguarding children and young people in the 21st Century seems to become more and more complex. Effective safeguarding relies on clear and easily understandable systems and procedures. The school’s culture forms the safe environment for children to develop and grow.

In this course for Designated Safeguarding Leads, colleagues will learn why school culture is so important and how to build the solid structures that will support staff and students, even when tough challenges come along. The course includes many practical downloadable resources, including a pdf copy of the latest Safeguarding Handbook.

This course is delivered by Andrew Hall of Success in Schools and will help you meet the statutory requirement for Designated Safeguarding Leads.
