Digital Champions
This 2-year project will develop and embed a network-wide digital strategy for all schools, culminating in the establishment of a sustainable Digital Champion Network, and provide tailored support for each school’s unique digital journey. These leaders are building the capacity to support their colleagues, ensuring that the digital strategy remains people-centred and impact-focused.
Project objectives:
● Establish a Baseline
Conduct individual digital audits for each school using the LGfL Digital Toolkits to understand current capabilities and inform bespoke digital strategy pathways.
● Develop Strategic Roadmaps
Co-create a comprehensive digital strategy pathway for each school, alongside an overarching network digital strategy.
● Empower Digital Champions
Identify and equip 2 Digital Champions from each school to lead digital transformation, fostering a culture of innovation and peer support.
● Cultivate a Collaborative Network
Build and sustain a thriving Digital Champion Network that facilitates joint sharing of good practice, peer-to-peer support, and regular collaborative sessions.
● Drive School Improvement
Ultimately enhance teaching and learning, and operational effectiveness across all schools through integrated and sustainable technology use.

“The Digital Strategy Project is driven by a clear purpose: ‘To enhance teaching and learning, empower staff, and simplify administration.’ By identifying and training both senior leader and class-based digital champions, this initiative is creating a sustainable ecosystem of expertise.”
